Organisational Productivity Expert | Systems Thinker | Speaker, Author, Consultant & Coach

Amanda Sokell is an organisational productivity expert, systems thinker, and the author of UNBLOCK: Transform your profitability through a culture of productivity in just 100 days

She helps leaders and teams unlock genuine, sustainable performance by challenging outdated assumptions about productivity. Moving beyond traditional measures like utilisation, billable hours or profit per head, Amanda reframes productivity around value added per person and introduces the Productivity Wage Quotient (PWQ) — a powerful, evidence-based way to track organisational effectiveness.

Her work brings clarity where there’s complexity. By focusing on outcomes rather than activity, Amanda equips organisations to improve results without simply asking people to do more.

Amanda’s Methodology: The Four Levers of Productivity

Amanda’s thinking is grounded in a practical framework she explores in UNBLOCK: the Four Levers of Productivity — People, Price, Process and Promise.

These form the four sides of a pyramid, with five levels on each. As organisations climb each level, they move closer to peak productivity. By addressing these levers systemically, leaders unlock capacity and create measurable, sustainable improvements in productivity and therefore profitability.

What Amanda Does

Amanda works with organisations internationally through:

  • Speaking – reframing productivity in keynotes that challenge thinking

  • Consultancy – partnering with leadership to remove friction and improve systems

  • Productivity Coaching – embedding new ways of working with individuals and teams

Amanda supports leaders and organisations ready to move past surface-level metrics and focus on what really drives performance. Her work provides clarity on:

  • where effort is wasted

  • how to increase capacity without increasing burnout

  • how to align activity with strategy

  • how to ensure productivity growth matches wage investment

The Outcomes

Organisations that work with Amanda report:

  • measurable gains in productivity

  • renewed focus on high-value activities

  • stronger, healthier teams

  • systems that support delivery without firefighting

Beyond Work

Outside of her work with organisations, Amanda enjoys exploring difference — in ideas, people, and experiences. She’s currently learning to play both hockey and tennis, enjoying the challenge of acquiring new skills and the community that comes with them. A keen reader, she’s always reaching for books that stretch her thinking, whether in business, behavioural science or something entirely unexpected.

Amanda also gives her time as a volunteer. She finds that many of the same principles that apply in business - clarity, systems, momentum - also apply in grassroots environments.

And while she doesn't dance as often as she once did, she still finds joy in movement, rhythm, and the energy of trying something new.

In a world where no system ever seems to work the way you need it to out of the box... Amanda has consistently brought clarity of thinking ... and develops and applies workable solutions that simplify our processes and improve our efficiency.
